Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. (If increased moisture is desired, reduce to 1 cup cooked rice.)

This makes the best jambalaya we have ever eaten! We found this base wile we were in the Gulf Shores and brought back 6 cans. Needless to say it didn’t last long. I emailed the company and they gave me this link to order from. Let’s see how long 24 cans will last????. We live in Missouri and when I can find it it’s over $8.00 a can. This is still a better deal even with shipping.
