A dish that came about largely due to South Louisiana’s abundant rice crop, Dirty Rice gets its name from the meat, vegetables and spices that add color to the rice. Our Cajun Land Dirty Rice Entrée Mix has all the rice and genuine Cajun seasonings needed to make this a family favorite. Just add ground meat and in less than 30 minutes, you can enjoy this delicious iconic, Cajun dish!

Cooking Directions

1. In a 4 qt. saucepan, brown 1 lb. of ground beef.
2. Add 2 ½ cups of water and bring to a boil.
3. Add Cajun Land Dirty Rice Entrée Mix, stir well, and return to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to low, cover pot, and simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes, then serve
