1 answered questionQ: I used to purchase BBQ Shrimp Seasoning from y’all years ago. You added shrimp, seasoning maybe butter? Can’t remember??? Put it in a Pyrex dish and bake in oven. Is this the same thing?
A: Yes Stovetop cooking instructions 1. In large skillet or 5 quart pot melt butter over medium high heat 2. Add water (or beer) and Mam Papaul's shrimp mix, stir mixture and ring to a boil. 3. Add shrimp and shake pan back and forth to cover the shrimp, cook 2 - 3 minutes 4. Turn the shrimp frequently and cook for another 2 minutes until shrimp are pink and thoroughly cooked. Shrimp cook quickly. Be careful not to over cook otherwise the shrimp will be hard to peel.
