I'm always on the lookout for convenient meals that don't compromise on taste. This gumbo tastes like it's been simmering for hours, but it only takes a few minutes. And it was packed with flavor. A delicious meal.

I tried the as an alternative to several other frozen gumbos on the site. It had the best flavor over the competition. The gumbo was a bit thinner than the rest, which is my preference. The product was the k with dark meat chicken, less so with the andouille. I came to cajun food in my 30's. I suspect that it I like Italian food which I/ grew up with. You tend to set the bar by your early experience. I would patronize a restaurant if this were their gumbo. I live in SW FL, so this is the ticket for me.

This had a good flavor, but the Chicken and Andouille was a little lacking. It would make a good base as a starter for a Gumbo where you could add more ingredients to it. But on another note, Cajun Grocer always has the best and fastest shipping. Everything arrived fast and in good condition. Everything was frozen solid as a rock!
