Great experience ordering my first gator from this website. The shipping was fast and the shipping price was reasonable. I smoked the gator and everyone who tried it really enjoyed it. I will definitely purchase from here in the near future.

Outstanding customer service, and great down to earth people. When I ordered it they answered every question I had and it got here exactly when they told me. The best 32nd Birthday gift a man could have and finger licking good to grilled to perfection!!!!!!!!!!!

We ordered a Gator for Memorial Day weekend, and smoked it. A louisiana alligator in California, can you imagine? Everyone lost their minds.

★★★★★Mike

Quick shipment with plenty of dry ice in cooler. Was advertised as a small whole gator 5-9 lbs. What we received was a very nicely skinned almost 10lb gator. My kids are going to love it on the grill.

Cajun Grocer's customer service is FANTASTIC! I had no clue what I was doing when ordering a whole gator and they walked me through the whole process. How long to thaw, when to purchase and ship, how much meat it would yield and every other aspect. They ship to Iowa where a couple competitors wouldn't. The gator was a bit intimidating coming out of the box but just like working with any other piece of meat. The group loved it and it was a great experience. Thanks so much for all the help Tiffany and crew!

Q: Do we need to remove any fat from the tail of the alligator or can we cook it as is after stuffing the belly?

A: You can remove it if you would like, taking the fat off is a preference for some customers, but it is totally up to you!

Q: i have a few questions how long are the small alligators roughly ? will i be able to freeze this until the day im ready to cook it ? and do you ship to Buffalo NY ?

A: We do not measure the length of our alligators, they are frozen and prepackaged curled for easier transport. You may freeze until the day before you are ready to prepare, it will need time to thaw so I recommend taking it out the day before. All of our items can be shipped anywhere in the United States.
