Louisiana Fish Fry (Seasoned) is a flavorful blend of corn meal, corn flour, garlic, salt and other spices traditionally used as a total seasoning for your favorite fish, oysters, shrimp, meat or vegetables. Our Seasoned Fish Fry is the one that started it all! It’s a flavorful blend of cornmeal, garlic, salt and other spices traditionally used as a total seasoning for your favorite fish, oysters, shrimp, meat or vegetables.

Steps: Heat cooking oil in deep fry pan to 375°F. Wash fish (or substitute) thoroughly in cold water. While wet, coat in Louisiana Fish Fry. Place in cooking oil and cook until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess oil. Oysters, shrimp, meat and vegetables can be cooked the same as above.

The Louisiana Seasoned "Crispy" Fish Fry seafood breading mix is some good stuff! I like this version better than all the other versions because it doesn't have flour added which seems to make the fish less crispy after frying. However, it is hard to find the "crisp" version now-a-days for some reason, but I can only guess it's directly due to the Louisiana Seafood Company changing the mixture to include more flour in all breading brands to cut back on the total amounts of cornmeal in each bag. Wrong approach if you ask me. The company should simply charge more for the cornmeal version if needed but still give customers a choice as was the case before!!!
